Jacquelyn Puentes, Vice President External Affairs, Comcast NBCUniversal

Jackie Puente is currently vice president of external affairs at Comcast NBCUniversal, responsible for partnerships with diverse stakeholders on policy issues in the media and technology industry. Throughout her career, Ms. Puente has served as a translator between public, private, and nonprofit entities to promote sustainable and equitable growth.

Prior to joining Comcast, Ms. Puente provided strategic communications counsel to Fortune 100 clients on a range of technology, telecommunications, tax, and utilities issues. Ms. Puente has a reputation for building and managing high profile coalitions on complex issues combining her passion for technology, DE&I, brand & reputation communications, community investment, government affairs, and grassroots advocacy.

An American University graduate, Ms. Puente was a 2004 National Security Education Program Boren Scholar in Moscow, Russia, where she studied at Moscow International University.

Today she is also active on multiple boards to advance economic opportunity and social justice including the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, SER National Jobs for Progress, AAPD (formerly the American Association of People with Disabilities), and Virginia Community Capital/LOCUS.
