Company: Dealer Tire

Dealer Tire was founded in 1999 out of the former Mueller Tire & Brake Company, a family-owned, Cleveland-based retail chain founded in 1918. Today, Dealer Tire’s core business manages replacement tire and parts programs for more than 20 automotive OEMs in the U.S., Europe, and China. We serve more than 8,000 automotive dealerships from nearly 40 distribution centers across the U.S. Dealer Tire’s enterprise also includes leaders across the automotive reconditioning, ecommerce and vehicle protection & warranty industry segments through the Dealer Tire family of companies (Simple Tire, Dent Wizard, Sonsio).
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are more than just words. Our commitment to these values is unwavering because they are at the core of who we are and how we operate. At Dealer Tire, we know that we are stronger with a more diverse, inclusive team. We understand that our associates desire and have a right to expect a diverse, inclusive and supportive workplace, and that if we want to attract and retain the best talent, we must be intentional in our efforts and all our labor practices must reflect that intentionality.
Dealer Tire has taken many steps to advance our DEI initiatives including launching an Inclusion Council comprised of our ERG leaders; creating a transparent interactive guide that allows all associates to explore our metrics as a company, explore topics of relevance to our goals, and participate in our DEI journey; hosting “Conversations on Inclusive Leadership” discussions with associates throughout the organization to co-create our 5-year roadmap; and building a robust engagement strategy to understand inclusion and belonging sentiment throughout the organization. Additionally, we’ve always had a culture of giving in many forms, from financial and material support to energy and mentoring. We’ve made significant contributions to numerous local and national nonprofit organizations, and our associates have selflessly donated.
