Brenda Gadd

Brenda Gadd is the Founder and President of Rethink Public Strategies, a nationally recognized public affairs group with nationwide reach influencing public policy through advocacy at all levels. With nearly 20 years of experience leading award winning advocacy and political campaigns to becoming the first woman lobbyist and co-founding the prestigious lobbying firm Civic-Point at Frost, Brown, Todd law firm, she brings experiences successfully lobbying for national clients such as The Nature Conservancy and Live Nation Entertainment as well as working within government to help non-profits and socially conscious companies and organizations to improve lives by navigating the political, policy and advocacy landscape. Brenda has worked at every level of government and brings a life of long standing relationships with her. She is a member of the Women of Government Affairs, Nashville Cable and Rotary International. She has been recognized for her leadership in programs across the southeast and the U.S. Brenda is the recipient of the 2019 ATHENA award for young professionals, Nashville Business Journal’s 2020 Women of Influence awards and the 2014 American Association of Political Consultants award for rising stars. Brenda received her Bachelor of Arts from the liberal arts school Maryville College and her law degree from Nashville School of Law. She received her certificates in campaign management and executive leadership from Yale University and Lipscomb University respectively. She love leading trainings and leads trainings on all levels of advocacy, nationally. She serves on the national board of Emerge America which recruits and trains women to run for office in the U.S. Brenda’s passion for service includes causes that focus on gender and racial equity, and social justice.
