Dan Kramer

Dan is currently Vice Chair of Calastone where he has responsibility for the Americas and Strategic Initiatives and participated in the sale of the business to Carlyle. Prior to this he was Chief Client Experience Officer at BNYMellon Asset Services with responsibility for client services and operations.  Before BNYM, Dan ran the Fund Services business and operations at JPMorgan.  He has also been COO of Deutsche Asset Management and early in his career he led trading and Sales businesses at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.

 

He is also an investor and advisor to a number of early to mid stage technology companies including SAY, Syndio and ChinaFICC.

 

He is deeply committed to inclusion, having created and implemented a Male Ally Program at BNYM, which now has 5,000+ members.  In 2018, his efforts resulted in him being named as a Champion of Women in Business by The Financial Times.

 

Dan has a BA in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University and is Treasurer and Trustee of the Tenement Museum in NYC.
