Combining marketing savvy with a deep-rooted passion, Nicole Wild Merl, has dedicated her career to finding meaningful solutions in the fight for women’s equality. The latest manifestation of her goal to empower women came in the form of Women Voters USA that began as a platform in 2016 and as a part of the first-ever Virtual Educational Cooperative allowed at Northeastern University College of Professional Studies with the goal to engage and support women to vote. The philosophy behind the name was inspired by the dream of a first woman president and in the context of women’s suffrage and women’s right to vote. With a focus on fostering the importance of volunteerism, Women Voters USA is a nonpartisan national grassroots Non-Profit dedicated to encouraging conversations on issues that are important to women, mobilizing voter turnout, and inspiring women to be architects of change ahead of the general election on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. A native Australian, upon her arrival in the United States in 1996, she became the Director of Special Events for Suited for Success Miami and later the Executive Director for The Women’s Alliance representing community-based organizations across the United States serving low-income women through such programs as The Career Wardrobe PA. Ms. Wild Merl has a Bachelor of Science in Professional Administration from Barry University, a Masters Degree in Organizational Communication with a concentration in Social Media from Northeastern University, and was most recently honored to ring the NASDAQ Bell with the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) during Women’s History Month.
