Patty Smith, MS, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is the Vice President of Human Resources and Compliance at Express Employment Professionals International Headquarters. Regarded as an innovative HR expert, Smith leads Express’ efforts Strategic Organizational Development and Communication, Talent Management and Development and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She is known as a dynamic and strategic innovator with extensive experience in change management, organization development assessments and transformation, executive coaching, emerging brand strategic planning, succession planning, and knowledge management. A Pennsylvania native, Smith holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in English with a focus in Sociology from Millersville University in Lancaster, PA. She also holds a Master’s of Science in Organization Development and Knowledge Management from George Mason University in Arlington, VA. Smith is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and holds the designations of Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). With over ten years of experience as a strategic Human Resources professional, Smith has led multiple full-scale HR departments and has worked across several industries including: staffing and recruitment, healthcare and hospitality.
