Stephanie Eidelman
Stephanie Meisel Eidelman is the owner and CEO of The iA Institute, a media company that produces information products, conferences, and membership groups for professionals in consumer finance. iA specializes in creating unique experiences that are intimate, practical, and driven by candor.
Stephanie’s passion is to use her position as an industry influencer to get women – particularly women of color – into leadership positions. In 2018 she launched Women in Consumer Finance, a serious professional development event and an intimate, high-energy experience where attendees make genuine friendships, build bigger, stronger networks, enhance their executive skills and dedicate attention to their career aspirations.
Stephanie serves on the board of LIFT (whywelift.org), whose mission is to break the cycle of poverty by investing in parents, and on the Washington, D.C. Council of Vital Voices Global Partnership, which invests in women leaders who are taking on the world’s greatest challenges – from gender-based violence to the climate crisis, economic inequities, and more.
Before The iA Institute and Women in Consumer Finance, Stephanie was part of the start-up team at Citysearch, the original online city guide, and was a consultant to media companies making the transition from print to online. Previously, she was a materials manager at aerospace manufacturer Allied Signal and a stage manager for The Walt Disney Company. Stephanie holds a BS from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
