Tracy Lofty, MSA, CAE

Tracy Lofty is the Chief Executive Officer of the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners in Washington, DC. With more than 25 years of experience in credentialing and nonprofit leadership, she previously served as Executive Director for the Commission on Nurse Certification and as Director of Postdoctoral Residency Training Standards and Evaluation for the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park and Trinity College. In addition, she received a certificate from George Washington University’s School of Business and has earned the Certified Association Executive certification. She has served in numerous volunteer leadership positions – most recently serving as Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force for the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) as well as a past member of the I.C.E. Board of Directors. In 2016, she received the honorary Distinguished Certification Administrator designation from the National Certification Commission due to her professional career contributions. In 2017, she launched The Lofty Group, a consulting company that focuses on strategic planning for nonprofits.
