Victoria Odinotska is a communications executive with over 25 years of experience in public relations and financial media relations based in Washington, D.C. area. She is CEO at KANTER, a global PR firm representing investment management companies, with a mission of creating a consistent and growing voice for asset managers in influential media channels worldwide.Victoria has built her communications career after immigrating to the U.S. from the Soviet Union. Starting in 1989 as a staff member of the House Committee on Government Reform and Oversight, she went on to work as a consultant on economic development projects, including for the International Monetary Fund and Yale University. Her deep interest in financial markets and public relations took her to Burson-Marsteller in a project director role to supervise a public information campaign for the development of nascent capital markets in Russia during the market reforms in 1996-1997.Victoria continued in financial PR as vice-president at Kanter & Associates, becoming the CEO and owner of the successor firm KANTER in 2005.Born in Ukraine, Victoria has a BA in English from Kyiv Linguistic University, an MA degree in International Business from George Mason University, and studied finance at the University of Oxford.
