Winslow Sargeant, Ph.D. is Senior Advisor for Globalization and Head of Capital Markets at GENAESIS. As incoming president of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB), Dr. Sargeant has been a strong advocate in helping countries worldwide develop powerful small business infrastructure as well as mentoring small businesses directly to accelerate their growth. Both as a private investor and as a presidentially appointed, Senate-confirmed member of the Obama administration, Dr. Sargeant has worked nationally with capital providers to facilitate small business advancement.”Coupled with Genaesis’ transactional expertise, which has allowed them to rapidly grow into one of the largest small business government contracting M&A firms in the country, my background is a perfect complement to both expand their offerings and provide greater deal flow to their potential capital partners,” Sargeant said.Winslow is a Kauffman Fellow, on the Presidential Leadership group at Stevens Institute of Technology, a trustee for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF), a Trustee at Northeastern University, Board member of the Morgridge Institute for Research, and founding board member of FWB Financial. He received his Electrical Engineering BS from Northeastern University, MS from Iowa State, and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin.
