Ellen J. Kullman is a United States business executive. Since November 2019, she has been the chief executive officer of Carbon (company). She was formerly Chair and Chief Executive Officer of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (“DuPont”) in Wilmington and is a former director of General Motors. Forbes ranked her 31st of the 100 Most Powerful Women in 2014. Kullman retired from DuPont on October 16, 2015. Kullman studied mechanical engineering at Tufts University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in 1978. In 1983, she received a master’s degree in management from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
