Sabina Chatterjee, Director of Sustainable Finance & Advisory, Wells Fargo

Sabina is a Director in the Sustainable Finance & Advisory (SFA) Group where she is responsible for driving sustainable finance, integrating ESG into various facets of client advisory work, developing new products and client strategies, and assisting with the implementation and execution of Wells Fargo’s public climate and sustainability goals.

Prior to joining the ESG Solutions Group in 2021, Sabina was part of the Investment Banking team, where she led coverage of Chemicals clients. Previously, Sabina spent over a decade in equity research, covering the Chemicals sector at Wells Fargo and BB&T Capital Markets, and the Machinery & Diversified Industrials sector at J.P. Morgan. Before making the switch to finance, Sabina worked as a chemical engineer at Colgate- Palmolive.

Sabina earned her MBA and MEM degrees from the Kellogg School of Management and the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and a BS and BE in Biology and Chemical Engineering from New York University and Stevens Institute of Technology.

Sabina sits on the board of The Other Side Intercultural Theatre, a nonprofit that seeks to empower young girls and gender diverse youth through the dramatic arts. She is also a trustee of The Chemists’ Club, a nonprofit educational organization. She was awarded the “Outstanding 50” award by the American Asian Business Development Center in 2018, and is a 2015 Wells Fargo “Golden Spoke” awardee.

Sabina never left her hometown of Brooklyn, NY, now residing there with her husband and two teenage daughters. She is an avid runner and New York Times Spelling Bee fanatic.
