Barbie Bigelow is CEO of Emerald Growth Partners, LLC, where she helps leadership teams invest in the right technology to accelerate growth and maximize value.Her corporate leadership experience includes P&L and C-suite technology roles at Fortune 50-200, PE-backed and private companies. She’s received top awards for both Business Profitability and Customer Satisfaction and recognition by key customers for Cyber and Innovation excellence. Effective at creating vision that inspires, Barbie’s accomplishments show her focus on value creation and ability to galvanize teams around strategic imperatives while ensuring operations are safe, transparent and continually improving. She brings deep technology expertise and corporate governance experience through her work advising boards and her roles at a diverse set of companies.Barbie began her career as a Statistical Data Analyst at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. After completing graduate research in parsing technology, she joined IBM and helped develop HTML. Her executive experience includes serving as the first CIO for Lockheed Martin’s Electronics business and as Jacobs Engineering’s Global CIO.As a first-generation college graduate, Barbie advocates for diversity in technology fields and using technology to solve big problems, her commitment includes serving on the Advisory Board for the UT’s Tickle College of Engineering, mentoring/advising women emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in Cybersecurity, AI and sustainability ventures.Barbie holds a BS in Biology/Chemistry, Tusculum College, a MS in Computer Science, University of Tennessee and certificates in Program Management, Executive Finance and Risk Management.
