Melissa Moreno

Senior VP and Chief Information Officer, Lindsay Corporation

Dr. Melissa Moreno is a career technologist with over 20 years of experience in building secure, scalable and efficient systems. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Lindsay Corporation, Melissa leads all the technology that runs the company’s 18 global locations including cybersecurity, infrastructure, analytics, artificial intelligence, and enterprise applications. She aligns business priorities and technology with data strategies, security frameworks, infrastructure architectures and manufacturing control systems.

Before joining Lindsay Corporation, Melissa held several leadership roles at Gallup, most recently  Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity & Infrastructure. She was responsible for the professional service organization’s infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications and business analytics.

Melissa is passionate about developing technical teams that understand business needs and creating competitive advantages through digital transformation. She chairs the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s College of Information Science and Technology Advisory Board and is a Director of the Gallup Federal Credit Union.

Melissa holds a Doctor of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University, an MBA and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is also a Boardroom Certified Qualified Technology Expert and actively involved in various community and advisory boards.
