Futurist, Tata Consultancy ServicesAlexandra Whittington is a futurist and visionary strategist who has dedicated her career to exploring the intersections of emerging technologies, social change, and global trends. With extensive experience in the field of foresight, she has become known for her ability to anticipate and forecast the implications of cutting-edge developments. Whittington holds a master’s in strategic foresight from the University of Houston (UH), where she developed her expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning. She taught foresight courses for over a decade as a member of the UH Foresight faculty before joining the Future of Business team at TCS. Throughout her career, Whittington has worked with a diverse range of clients across industries, including Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Her insights and foresight have helped shape long-term strategies and innovation roadmaps for organizations. Currently, she was named to a list of 2025 Leading Women to Watch. In addition to her consulting work, Whittington is a global speaker and thought leader. She has delivered keynotes and presentations at conferences and events around the world, including TEDx and SXSW, and was recognized in Forbes as one of the world’s top women futurists. She is co-author and co-editor of several books such as A Very Human Future, Aftershocks and Opportunities, and The Future Reinvented.
