Ciemone A. Sheppard is the founder and CEO of Ciemone Inc., a financial and insurance services firm based in Delaware. Her primary goal in starting her company was to provide financial education to the many Americans who lack the basic understanding of finance and did not have a solid foundation or the tools necessary to create financial independence. Access to having trusted knowledgeable financial professionals is the foundation that built Ciemone Inc. Ciemone is dedicated to changing that narrative by focusing on creating financial education, wealth strategies and intergenerational wealth for her clients. Ciemone has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, leading her team of estate planning attorneys and financial advisors with an independent objective and focus on holistic planning through investments, tax planning strategy, asset allocation, retirement planning, insurance, and estate planning solutions. Ciemone is well known for being a dynamic and inspiring facilitator as well as expert thought leader in her own right. She delivers groundbreaking and innovative financial solutions as well as sound financial advice to her clients for their short- and long-term goals. Ciemone has designed and implemented internal financial planning, retirement workshops and cohorts across the country for business owners, corporations, and state and local governments. Ciemone Sheppard is active in her community and very passionate about mentorship. She volunteers as a Score mentor, sports coach, and in her local church. She is an active member of The Million Dollar Round Table, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Access Network, The Bow Collective, Women President’s Organization, Enterprising Women and is WBENC certified. Ciemone Inc. was recent recipient of the 2022 Enterprising Woman of the Year award recipient, 2023 Beyonce’s BeyGood Foundation Impact award, 2023 Ernst and Young Black Owned Businesses in US recognition. Ciemone and her husband have three beautiful daughters that will continue their legacy.
