Helen Stefan Moreau is the President and Owner of The Midtown Group, a premier professional career consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. Helen founded The Midtown Group in 1989, shortly after entering the staffing industry following her graduation from the University of Florida in 1988 with a degree in Public Relations and Business. Her entrepreneurial journey began with a bold decision to start her own staffing business with minimal resources. From her humble beginnings at a card table with a fax machine, she grew the company into a multi-million-dollar enterprise. Today, Midtown Group operates across 35 states and serves over 1,500 consultants and 140 clients nationwide.

Beyond her professional achievements, Helen is deeply committed to supporting the Washington, D.C. community. She has been an active participant in numerous organizations, including being a member of the prestigious Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and serving on its Executive Team as the Membership Chair and Assistant Education Chair.

Helen’s dedication to empowering women is reflected in her longstanding involvement with Rachael’s Women’s Center, where she was recognized as Board Member of the Year in 2007 and 2008 for her work helping local women transition out of homelessness. She is also a passionate advocate for Prevent Cancer Foundation, where she serves as a Co-Chair for their 5K races, gold-level sponsor for their annual gala, and lifetime sponsor of Living in Pink.

Helen is also actively involved with her alma mater, the University of Florida’s Regional Board, and supports the Peer Health Exchange.
