Katie Ritchie

Katie Ritchie is a USSF and CSA licensed coach and former professional footballer who has led transformative programs across North America. Currently serving in roles with San Diego Wave FC, SoCal Dutch Lions FC, and San Diego Force FC, Katie is known for building high-performance teams, advancing player development, and championing inclusion. She was named Coach of the Year in both collegiate and USL settings, with her teams achieving national rankings and postseason success. Katie holds multiple elite coaching licenses, currently pursuing her USSF A License and Canada’s B License, while being a part of US Soccer’s She Champions Program. She blends her experience as a top-tier athlete with deep expertise in coaching psychology, talent identification, and leadership. Katie is driven by a mission to elevate the game and empower the next generation of athletes through sport.
