Lisa Friedlander

Chief Revenue Officer, Citrine Angels

Lisa Friedlander is an attorney, entrepreneur, investor, and strategic advisor dedicated to supporting startups and emerging growth companies. She spent more than 15 years practicing corporate and telecommunications law at both large and boutique firms, and later served as Vice President and General Counsel for a satellite telecommunications company. In 2013, she co-founded Activity Rocket, an online marketplace for children’s activities and summer camps, where she served as CEO until its acquisition by Thrively in 2017.

Following the acquisition, Lisa joined Shulman Rogers, where she helped launch and grow the NEXT platform, providing legal and strategic support to startups. She currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer for NEXT, leading initiatives that strengthen clients and the broader DMV tech ecosystem. She also recently co-founded My NEXT Raise, an investor readiness platform for early-stage companies preparing to raise capital.

Lisa is a founding member and board director of Citrine Angels, a network focused on investing in women-led companies and expanding female participation in angel investing. She also serves on the boards of 2gether International and Main Street, organizations supporting entrepreneurs with disabilities and inclusive communities.

In addition, Lisa founded two philanthropic initiatives benefiting Children’s National Medical Center, which have collectively raised over $2 million and provided leadership opportunities to hundreds of students.
