
Melissa Bradley
Co-Founder, New Majority VenturesMelissa L. Bradley is General Partner at 1863 Venture Fund and the BEA Venture Fund, providing equity investments to founders whose mission is to close the wealth gap. She is also the Managing Director of Entrepreneurship Initiatives at the Black Economic Alliance Foundation. Melissa is a renowned entrepreneur and the driving force behind many ventures, including most recently 1863 Ventures and the exited tech platform Ureeka. Her vision is to foster responsible entrepreneurship, reshape the support and narrative around New Majority founders, and drive meaningful change in the entrepreneurial landscape. Melissa’s influence extends beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, as she is a member of the Milken Institute Inclusive Capitalism Executive Council, Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women Advisory Council, and formerly a member of the Small Business Administration’s Investment Capital Advisory Committee (ICAC). In addition to her entrepreneurial ventures, Melissa is a distinguished Professor of Practice at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Her accolades include Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance Excellence Award for Impact, named to the Forbes 50 Over 50 list for social entrepreneurship and the Washington Business Journal’s Power 100 list.
