Tania is a global leader in impact investing and ESG, currently heading KPMG’s Global Centre of Excellence for Private Equity & Asset Management. In this role, she brings together professionals and subject matter experts from across KPMG’s international network to advance strategies aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and drive long-term, sustainable value creation.

With deep expertise in integrating social and environmental considerations into investment and business decisions, Tania advises leading organizations on forward-looking strategies that balance performance with purpose. She has played a key role in shaping the impact investing ecosystem, including serving on Canada’s National Advisory Board to the G8 Social Impact Investment Taskforce and contributing to the Government of Canada’s national social innovation and social finance strategy.

Prior to her global role, Tania was KPMG Canada’s first Chief Impact Officer, where she built and led the firm’s social impact strategy. She also spent over a decade advising corporate and financial services clients on operations improvement, risk management, and governance.

Tania is deeply committed to community leadership, serving as Chair of the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation and as a Director for several organizations, including The Prince’s Trust Canada and Business/Arts. Her contributions have been recognized with honors such as The Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.

She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management.
