Co-founder and COO, Systole HealthLauren McConnell is the Co-founder and COO of Systole Health, an AI company building the infrastructure that enables health systems to deploy and scale longitudinal chronic disease programs.
Lauren is a repeat healthcare builder who has spent more than a decade launching new products, service lines, and businesses at One Medical, Mount Sinai Health System, and Hey Jane. Across those organizations, she took multiple care models from concept to launch, spanning women’s health, primary care, contraception, medication abortion, chronic disease management, and group-based care.
At Systole, Lauren leads product, go-to-market, and operations. She architected the company’s first software platform, using AI-native development tools to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate alongside enterprise customers before hiring a traditional engineering team. That approach enabled Systole to validate product-market fit, secure enterprise partnerships, and begin deploying its platform inside major health systems.
Lauren is passionate about building products that rethink how healthcare is delivered. She believes AI fundamentally changes what small founding teams can build and is excited about the opportunity to create category-defining infrastructure for the future of chronic disease management.
