Dr. Simin Gharib Lee

CEO and Co-Founder, Systole Health

Dr. Simin Lee, MD, MBA, is the CEO and Co-Founder of Systole Health and a practicing cardiologist at Mass General Brigham.

Her frontline experience caring for patients shaped the insight behind Systole Health: traditional care models are not built to meet the scale of chronic disease. Systole builds technology that enables health systems to deliver scalable, group-based care models that expand access, improve outcomes, and better serve populations that have been underserved by the current system.

Dr. Lee has spoken nationally on women’s cardiovascular health, digital health innovation, and the future of care delivery. As a physician-founder, she is focused on helping health systems increase clinician capacity while delivering care in ways that better reflect how patients learn, change behavior, and sustain health.

She earned her MD and MBA from Harvard University, was a Harvard Business School Blavatnik Fellow, and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association’s Boston chapter. Outside of medicine and entrepreneurship, she is a mother of three and a competitive marathon runner.
