Jean Wang

Quantum Inc., is a comprehensive language services company based in Center City Philadelphia. Founded in 1991, Quantum’s mission is to eliminate cultural and linguistic barriers. Quantum provides In-person Interpretation, Telephonic Interpretation and Written Document Translations to clients in healthcare, law, government, social services, education, business, science and other industries. Its services are available 24/7/365 in over 150 languages.

Born and raised in Fuzhou, China, Ms. Wang immigrated to the United States at age 17. She did not speak English when she arrived. She eventually earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Temple University. Understanding firsthand the struggles and challenges of learning English, soon after graduation, Ms. Wang embarked on a career in the language services field. She has since guided Quantum from a small startup operation to a thriving company. She believes Quantum’s success can be attributed to linguistic expertise, exceptional customer service, innovation, responsiveness, and professionalism.

Ms. Wang is a board member of Casa Farnese, an affordable senior housing nonprofit organization, and the United Way of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey. She is also a member of the Forum of Executive Women where she serves on the Diversity Committee, and the Asian American Women’s Coalition.
