Joanna Mitchell

Joanna Mitchell is a Senior Vice President and Group Manager of Commercial Banking for Texas Capital Bank. She is responsible for managing a team of bankers and supporting staff to deliver strategic and financial advice and solutions to customers and prospective customers.

 Joanna joined Texas Capital Bank in 2020, bringing over 15 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. Her prior experience includes over 8 years in Wells Fargo’s Investment Bank in Charlotte, NC and 5 years in Wells Fargo’s Middle Market Bank in Houston, TX. Joanna also has significant experience in public accounting, having worked for top tier firms including Andersen and Deloitte in Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC.

Joanna holds a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clemson University.

Joanna is active in the community and has held numerous leadership positions with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, in order to benefit youth education in the state of Texas. Further, she is a member of the Women Business Collaborative and sits on the Advisory Council. Joanna resides in Houston, TX with her family.
