Marissa Z. Peters is an operational excellence expert who currently is the Assistant Vice President for Process Excellence for USAA Property and Casualty. With over 15 years of program, process, and risk management experience, she is known for maximizing results and has a knack for systematic problem solving and strategy building. Marissa’s journey started when she was a military spouse and began leading large transformation efforts for the Army as she moved around the globe with her family.

Her creative thinking and passion for simplification allowed her to lead large portfolios, process improvements and manage strategic and operational planning.

Marissa also has a passion for diversity and inclusion and sits on the USAA CEO Diversity Council, was a founder member of the P&C Women in Leadership Program and is a board member for the Insurance Supper Club.

She holds a M.A from Gonzaga University specializing in Organizational Leadership and is close to the finish
