Sunny Ackerman

Sunny is the President of the Americas for Specialist Staffing Group, a leading provider of talent and consulting to the life sciences, energy, and technology sectors. She is a veteran of the human capital industry and has served a wide range of clients, advising leaders on labor strategy, employee acquisition and retention, and talent development.

Before joining Specialist Staffing Group, Sunny was the Americas President for Frank Recruitment Group, where she was responsible for FRG’s largest region, and led the development of specialty markets, new brands, and revenue growth. Sunny previously spent 14 years in a variety of executive leadership positions with ManpowerGroup, most recently as Senior VP/GM. Sunny led the company’s commercial staffing business in North America, with over 400 offices employing 50,000 people weekly. She was also the architect of ManpowerGroup’s Affordable Care Act strategy and implementation and developed and launched the Group’s successful permanent placement business. Staffing Industry Analyst named Sunny multiple times to the “Global Power 100″ “the most influential women in staffing. Sunny is passionate about and often called upon to discuss industry topics such as women in STEM, careers, and workplace trends, and she Chaired ManpowerGroup’s global women’s employee resource group.
