Uma Rijhwani

Uma heads Banking Financial Services and Insurance business unit for the Central Europe region. She has been with TCS for 30 years and is currently spearheading P&L including Sales, Relationship and Delivery for her set of customers. She manages teams of 10,000 plus spread globally to service the needs of these customers. Currently Uma works closely with large BFSI customers headquartered in Central Europe enabling them to drive their Growth and Transformation agendas specifically in
the areas of Digitization, Agility, Cost Efficiencies, enabling new revenue streams through expansions in businesses and markets. Uma has worked in the Europe, UK and India markets and have helped grow TCS business substantially with the BFSI customers headquartered in the Central Europe region.

Uma is very passionate about women in IT and holds various courses, seminars and lectures to encourage women to take up leadership positions. She heads the “Women in Banking” initiative at TCS and drives women to progress their career in Financial Services. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and has Executive Coaching from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
