Anne Mullins was appointed senior vice president and chief digital and information officer in August 2019. In this role, Mullins is responsible for leading the strategic direction of Corning’s global Information Technology function and evolving the company’s digital footprint. Her responsibilities include driving operational stability at market-competitive costs, evolving technology capabilities to advance Corning, and realizing the vision defined in the Information Technology 2025 strategy. Before joining Corning, Mullins served as chief information officer for Lockheed Martin, where she is credited with transforming the 4,800-person IT organization from a cost center to a digital accelerator for the business. Previously, she served as Lockheed Martin’s chief information security officer, with responsibility for the design and execution of the corporate cyber strategy. Mullins holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from George Washington University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University. She received the Humphrey Award from Villanova and the Fox IT Innovator Award from Temple University.
