Cathy Southwick is a proven engineering leader with over 25 years of experience defining and scaling engineering and corporate IT functions. As Robinhood’s first Chief Information Officer, Cathy is responsible for Risk, Fraud, and FinCrimes engineering and corporate IT teams. Before Robinhood, Cathy was the Chief Information Officer for Pure Storage, leading their global IT & Cybersecurity strategy. Prior to Pure, Cathy held executive leadership positions at AT&T, including Vice President, Technology Engineering and Vice President, Cloud Planning & Engineering. During her tenure at AT&T, Cathy led the planning and execution of IT strategies, core wireline and wireless network transformation, IT application modernization, and IT cloud evolution. Cathy holds a BA in business Management from Saint Mary’s College of California and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
