Emilia Sherifova joined KKR in 2019 and is the firm’s Chief Information & Innovation Officer. Ms. Sherifova joined KKR from Northwestern Mutual, where she was Chief Technology Officer and Head of Enterprise Architecture and Engineering and was a member of the Northwestern executive leadership team. Before Northwestern Mutual, Ms. Sherifova was the chief technology officer for the personal finance consumer startup, LearnVest, a PE-backed FinTech startup. She also led technology for a leading ad tech startup. Earlier in her career, she spent 13 years in various leadership roles in the OTC Markets Group. She holds a graduate degree with a concentration in International Business and Finance from Columbia University, as well as an advanced certification in software development from New York University.
