Jamie L. Engstrom is a Caterpillar Inc. Senior Vice President responsible for the Global Information Services (GIS) Division and Chief Information Officer. In this position, she leads a team responsible for Caterpillar’s global information technology (IT) systems, cybersecurity, and IT transformation. Prior to being named vice president of GIS, Engstrom was chief information officer for our Financial Products Division in Nashville, TN. Engstrom joined Caterpillar in May 1999 and has held positions across procurement and IT. Her extensive background in IT includes global leadership accountabilities in large-scale systems transformations, cybersecurity, cloud and application management, global data center management, worldwide network, servers and storage, database management and end user services. Engstrom earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Illinois State University and an MBA from Bradley University in 2002. In 2018, she completed the Women’s Executive Leadership Program through the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
