Janet Scott is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Organon, a global
biopharmaceutical leader in women’s health. With more than 3 decades of IT experience, she brings extensive knowledge of various IT disciplines and led the creation and expansion of Organon’s cybersecurity and business technology compliance program. Previously, Janet spent 30 years with Merck in several IT leadership roles, including 10 years in cybersecurity leadership. Janet headed Merck’s Global Cybersecurity Engineering Organization – leading teams in the US, Prague and Singapore. She has led various IT business operations teams with responsibility for financial management, learning & development, IT sourcing strategy, and IT communications. Janet has international working experience, and she holds a BS degree in Computer Science as well as a Masters of Management from Penn State University. Janet also holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification (CISSP).
