Kathleen serves as Southwest Airlines’ Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In this position, she provides leadership for the Company’s Technology functions. Kathleen’s key responsibilities include delivering the Company’s Enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and providing oversight of all technology products and services. Kathleen joined Southwest in 2004 as a Director in Technology, leading the Enterprise Data Team. Between 2004 and 2017, Kathleen held a variety of roles focused on strategy, technology, and change leadership. Prior to joining Southwest Airlines, Kathleen worked for Capital One Auto Finance in their technology organization. In addition, Kathleen has more than 20 years of experience in the travel and transportation industry, including various technology positions for both Sabre and American Airlines. Kathleen earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of North Texas.
