Li Fan is a computer scientist who leads Circle’s engineering team as Chief Technology Officer. In previous roles, she has served as CTO and interim CPO at Lime, SVP of engineering at Pinterest, Senior Director of Engineering at Google Inc., and Vice President of Engineering at Baidu, China. She is an expert on visual computation. Li started her career as a software engineer at Cisco Systems. Li was ranked on of Forbes’ America’s Top 50 Women in Tech in 2018 and named one of the most important engineer’s in the world by Business Insider. Li earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fudan University, and her master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
