An accomplished technology leader, Maria is responsible for developing Indigo’s digital platform to better serve farmers, buyers, advisors, and agricultural ecosystem partners. As the company’s first CDO, Maria focuses on opening access to Indigo’s technology platform to create greater efficiency and connectivity, leveling the playing field and expanding opportunity for those operating within the business of agriculture. Maria has built a career solving complex customer problems with technology, building successful large-scale and data driven products, and leading high performing technology and product organizations, experience she leverages to oversee Indigo’s Software Product Management, Engineering, Geo Innovation, and Information Technology teams. Previously, Maria served as Chief Technology Officer at GrubHub where, during her six-year tenure, she led high-growth technology teams to develop and continuously improve the company’s multi-sided marketplace and logistics platform, steering the company’s technical infrastructure and product vision. Prior to Grubhub, Maria held leadership positions at a number of high-growth technology companies. Her experience includes serving as VP of Technology at Bluefly, one of the largest online fashion destinations, where she managed the technical capabilities and infrastructure of the online marketplace. Maria also founded and served as CEO of Davai, a cloud-based, scalable social media platform, in addition to holding leadership roles at Microsoft Bing Mobile and Bing Local. Maria holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Middle Tennessee State University.
