Patricia Titus is the Chief Privacy and Information Security Officer at Markel Corporation. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Black Kite Technology, a cybersecurity company and the Girl Scouts of the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is also serves on the board of advisors for Comodo, YL Ventures, and Glasswing Ventures and was awarded the C100 CISO Connect Trailblazer award in July 2022. Previously, Patricia was the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Freddie Mac, Symantec, Unisys Corporation and the Transportation Security Administration within the Department of Homeland Security. Patricia also worked overseas for several years in various positions within the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. State Department and various private sector firms. She has more than 20 years of security management experience. Patricia is on the Board of Advisors for the Executive Women’s forum and was recognized as a ‘Woman of Influence’ by the Executive Women’s Forum in 2009 and the Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2013. Patricia studied at the University of Maryland and the University of Virginia.
