Torrie Inouye has joined Bank of Hawaii as executive vice president and chief data officer. She is responsible for changing the way Bank of Hawaii utilizes data assets. Inouye will reshape the organization’s legacy data collection, platform and governance processes and partner across business areas to redesign the way Bank of Hawaii leverages data services and builds data products. With 17 years of experience, Inouye brings a wealth of knowledge to the bank having served a variety of firms in the financial services industry in California. Most recently, she worked with Intuit in San Diego as a marketing analytics manager. Prior to that, Inouye was president of National Funding, where she led the company’s data and technology transformation and grew small business loan origination by 45% over a two-year period. Inouye also worked for Union Bank in California. Inouye earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University, and is a graduate of ‘Iolani School in Honolulu.
