Victoria Romero brings more than 18 years of experience in healthcare IT, mergers and acquisitions, finance, strategy and leadership. In her role as CIO, she is responsible for directing SCP Health’s overall technology strategy, including mobile, web, enterprise application development, infrastructure, and security. Romero joined SCP Health in 2006 and has held progressively responsible positions in management and senior leadership culminating in her most recent role of SVP of information technology where she played a lead role in IT product development and managing the technology component for the integration of two large corporate acquisitions. Prior to joining SCP Health, Romero was a Web Application Programmer at Acadian Ambulance and a Financial Programmer with global company Stuller Settings. Additionally, Romero is a Guest Lecturer at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a recipient of Acadiana’s “20 under 40” leadership award. Romero has a Bachelor of Science in Business Systems Analysts and Technology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
