Virginia Lyons is Chief Information Security Officer for retailer Williams-Sonoma. Her prior retail experience includes a brief stint as Director of Product Security at Gap, as well as 12 years at Macy’s. Previously, Lyons held engineering and other technology roles. Agile transformation, cloud strategy, information security, software delivery and operational excellence all demand business-driven decisions in technical domains. Her experience in leading transformational change in organizations large and small is built on demonstrated technical skills combined with deep understanding of business imperatives. She bring hands-on experience with the full product life-cycle, from ideation to post-sales delivery and support. She received her JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
